30 different types of vegetables are planted in the Bichlhof garden and sometimes even rarities are bred.
The kitchen team around the guarantor of enjoyment and chef Karl Aichholzer have been following the principle of processing local food in the highest quality and freshness for years. Regional products have priority over long transport routes. In addition, the kitchen sources its own vegetables, herbs and berries from its own Bichln farm around the hotel. This guarantees a high quality standard of the food for our guests.

That is the number of tomatoes that can be found in the Bichlhof garden. You get a yield of approx. 5-10 kg per plant.
Our own springs on the Bichlalm secure almost the entire water supply in the hotel (110,000,000 million liters of its own mountain spring water).
With our wood chip heating, we not only achieve incredible CO2 savings per year, but also the biogenic solid fuel comes entirely from the Tyrolean forests. Approximately 25% come from Bichln's own forestry.
